About me

Hi I'm Freddie, a Dorset-based illustrator and gardener. I have worked as a graphic designer in Amsterdam and London since 2017, gaining experience in advertising, tv, and ultimately garden design. I then left London to set up a freelance graphic design studio. I also became a gardener during this time.

With my partner Léna, I also run a small seaweed business based in Bridport. We wild harvest seaweed to make cosmetic & food products.

If you have a garden that needs tending, or a book that requires a cover, feel free to get in touch via email or phone 👋

Les Choristes (2004), Days of Heaven (1978), Our Little Sister (2015), Drunken Master (1978) .

I like to run & swim in the sea. I try to go all year round but as of late (Autumn 2025) I have been a little hopeless. I like to read historical fiction and fantasy, but I love a good non-fiction when I'm in the mood. Comfort food has to be Broth with big old slurpy Udon noodles right now.

This is true. I like the analogue look and feel of technology. Film grain, light leaks, all that.

It is always a changing landscape the software realm. As a designer, I have honed my craft with Adobe, and more recently ushered in a new set of skills with Davinci Resolve and Figma. I am now embarking on a path to learn frame by frame animation.
